Add the price to the product page
Now the script contains two variables: $price_with_discount and $price, which store the old and new prices. To see this data on the product page, you need to embed it in the template. We already know how to do this.
Our web designers just finished the template and added code samples to display the new and old prices.
Replace the static prices in the page markup with the required variables, then change the value of the price and discount in the script to see how the prices change on the page.
We will use shorthand notation:
