How to obtain text from the input field

In order to add a task to a page, you need to obtain its name in one way or another. It is written in the input field, and it can be read from there. To do this, you need to call the value input property. It stores information that has been entered in the field.

input.value;

We can save this string and then add it to the task markup.

To read the value from the input field, you must find this filed and write it to a variable. So this is what we will do. Then find the field contents and output them to the page.

    1. After the newItemForm variable, declare a variable newItemTitle and write an element with the add-form-input class to it. Find the element inside the newItemForm element.
    2. At the end of the form submission handler function, declare a variable taskText and write the value (newItemTitle.value) from the input field to it.
    3. On the next line, output the taskText variable to the console.
    4. Enter the text Take a nap before lunch in the input field, press the “Add new task” button, and take a look at the console.
