Ordered List [4/17]

To create an ordered list, we use a tag called <ol> and add items to it with the <li> tag.

While the items of an unordered list are bulleted by default, the items of an ordered list are numbered.

For an ordered list, you can specify the start attribute which can change the start of numbering. For example, the following code:

<ol start="3">

Will result in:

  1. one
  2. two

Do it
<!DOCTYPE html> <html> <head> <meta charset="utf-8"> <title>Ordered List</title> </head> <body> <h1>What Headings Can We Use?</h1> <p>Here are tags used for headings and subheadings, from the most important to less important:</p> <ol> <li>h1</li> <li>h2</li> <li>h3</li> <!-- add new items here --> </ol> <p>You can use an ordered list for objects or actions having a particular order.</p> </body> </html>
